Server Specifications

Overview

The Net+Effects Server is a completely configured, Plug & Play server which is ready to attach to your Internet or local network connection. It supports HTTP (World Wide Web/Mosaic), WAIS, Gopher, E-Mail (mailing list and auto response), FTP (File Transfer), and DNS (Domain Name) services. Additionally, it is a full functioned workstation.

An Uninterruptible power supply insures continued operations in short power interruptions and provides a controlled shutdown without loss of data for long outages.

Net+Effects also provides a modem and will remotely configure your server and assist you in loading your initial data. All you need to is connect the cables, plug it in to power and to a telephone line, and your server automatically calls Net+Effects for remote configuration.
